Genie garage door opener part #20235R is a replacement keypad and ribbon wire ONLY for the KEP-1 Universal Keyless Entry System. If only the touch pad wears out then there is no reason to go through the extra expense of replacing the entire keyless entry system - simply replace the touch pad with the attached ribbon wire.
